...It's been a couple of years since I visited Martinique, but the experience is one I'll never forget.
The island is situated between Dominica and St. Lucia and is surrounded by deep crystal clear blue waters. I was transfixed by the beautiful white sandy beaches and breathtaking scenery.
When I first arrived in Martinique I was amazed to see how lush and green the surroundings were. I expected it to be like a desert island! There is plenty to see and do in Fort-de-France, there are markets and nice shops in the town centre, where you can also take boat trips out to the nearby islands. I took a boat to 'Le Trois Ilets', which was a tiny island about 15 minutes away from Fort-de-France centre. There was a nice little restaurant and a great beach for relaxing / sunbathing. I also followed a nice little walk up one of the hills...

...So not to confuse you, this isn't the Dominican Republic.
It is located between the French islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Eastern Caribbean. It's a volcanic island. It's 26 million years old.
The carribbean name for Dominica is Waitikubuli.
The most visited attraction in Dominica is it's waterfalls, and the most popular is the twin waterfalls at Trafalgur. It's very beautiful. You can go into the lake that it falls into and stand under the waterfall. Because of the tropical weather, the water isn't that cold.

A word of warning, be prepared to get very dirty and wet, as it's very muddy. You of course can't go into the lake, because...

...I travelled to Dominica because my father comes from there and I wanted to see where he grew up. There are no international airports on the island so you have to travel from another island in the Caribbean. Curiously the airport you arrive in is at the top of the island miles away from where the majority of the islanders live. This seemed like an inconvenience at first, but the journey down from the airport to the capital takes an hour and a half and means you get a breathtaking first impression of the island and see parts of the island you may not travel to normally. Dominica is primarlity a naturists holiday choice. There are hardlyu any beaches and the ones that do exist are mainly of black sand. If you go there its because you want to climb mountains and traipse through the rainforest. Not for the lighthearted. The capital is Roseau...

I found this game pretty addictive the first time I played on it. I found the use of the nunchuck pretty hard to master at first, moving the control stick didn\'t always work properly. I overcame this pretty quickly but found the game to move pretty slow more
