Two of my friends decided that they were going to go to Vegas to get married and we though we would love to stay at Caesars Palace. It worked out roughly £1,000 for a deluxe room for two on a room only basis for 7 nights.
When we got to the hotel itself we were not disaapointed by the lavish check in area with it's painted ceilings and marble and gold decor. We checked in with another couple and went to our rooms in the forum tower. When we got to our rooms the also didn't disappoint. The deluxe room consisted of a kingsize bed which had a mirrored ceiling above it and it also had a circular bath in the corner of the room which had a shower above it. The room had a TV but the only English channel was sky sports news which only shown at certain times on the Fox Soccer channel. The rest of the features were 2 wardrobes, a small settee, two bed side tables and a double sink in the marble bathroom. The hotel provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and moisturiser in small bottle and this was of a very good quality.
After speaking to our friends who had booked at the same time and checked in at the same timeas us they did not have a big circular bath in their room. We complained to reception that we expected them to have the same room as us and they said they only had spa rooms left and they were 5 floors above our own. We told them that we couldn't be moved so far apart so they would have to move both of us up there and they agreed.
The spa room was fantastic and had all the same fetures as the deluxe room but the bath was a jacuzzi in the bedroom and the rwas a seperate shower room in the bath which was of a large size and could easily accomodate 2 people.
The rooms also have a safe which is unlocked and locked by swiping a credit or debit card on the front of the safe. The rooms have no mini bar but they do leave water in room, however they will charge you $4 a bottle and you can buy exactly the same bottles from the vending machines near the lifts for just $2.
The hotel has a number of restaurants but I'm afraid I cannot give an opinion on these as I didn't eat in them whilst I was there but I can recommned the mermaid bar as a good venue for meeting friends before going out and the Shadow place is a good place to go if you fancy a few drinks before heading up to your room at the end of an evenings gambling. The shadow bar gets it's name because it has girls dancing behind lit screens behind the bar which provides shadows of the girls (One for the men for sure!)
One of the big eprks of staying at Caesars is that hotel guests get free entry to Pure nightclub (Voted best club in the USA!) and to the Pussycat lounge. Although the drinks in these two are expensive it is a must for an evenings entertainment and the Pussy Cat dolls put on 5 -6 different shows every evening which are all very good.
The hotel boasts one of the most fantastic swimming pools I have ever seen which is split into 3 different areas one of which being the European Pool which allows topless bathing. There are also top seperate spa pools. The pool has two bars and a cafe for when you want to grab a bite to eat although I advise to make use of the waitress staff around the pool area as they are very friendly and the service is very quick. A cocktail I would recommend is the Miami Vice (A mix of pina colada and strawberry Daiquiri).
Connected to Caesars Palace as Caesars Forum which is a huge shopping mall containing shops such a Gucci, Prada, Guess and a host of other designers as well as a number of restaurants. The ceiling in the forum looks like the sky as the evening wears on the sky gets darker and darker so you actually feel you are shopping outside. The prices in these shops are not really that cheap however and if you are looking for a bargain you are best off going to the outlet malls dotted aroung Vegas itself.
The last area of Caesars I have to comment on is the 24 hour gambling!!!!! The are a number of different gambling areas and you can play every game you would expect with there being plenty of roulette, craps, blackjack and poker tables with hundereds upon hundreds of slot machines filling the casinos as well and the cainos do not close. One of the good things was the waitresses who provide free drinks when you are gambling at the tables so even if you're losing at gambling you can try to drinks yourself even. The one downside to the gambling at Caesers is the low minimum bet limits. For roulette you can usually find a$10 minimum bet table but for gamesd such as blackjack and poker you will very rarely find a table with a minimum bet lower than $25 and it is advisable to go to casinos such as the excalibur and Imperial if you want to find the low limit tables.
Overall though I would recommend Caesars to a group of adults going away onm holiday but I wouldn't really recommend it to famillies as it has a grown up Aura and wouldn't be somewhere you would be comfortable making a scene in. Although it is one of the more expensive hotels if you can afford it you cannot beat the experience you will have staying here and it for me was definately a holiday to remember and was worth every penney!
Advantages: Very comfortable, friendly and helpful staff Disadvantages: Celine Dion!
...had an amazing time at Caesars Palace. Having spent 5 days on the strip, the three hotels i would recommend are Caesars Palace, The Venetian and the Belaggio, this is where i would choose to stay if i were travelling again. Caesars had a great layout, the lobby was beautiful, the gaming areas were comfortable and the waitresses great. We ate our buffet breakfast at Caesars most mornings, we tried a few other places, but decided it was the best value ... ...Caesars which really has to be seen to be believed. Like the Venetian, if you like high end fashion, with designer labels, then this is the place for you. Having said that, amoungst these designers, you'll find FAO Schwartz, gift shops, Nike, Planet Hollywood and all sorts. Being in the shopping mall is a little unnerving, as when its daylight outside, its dusky inside, with a false ceiling. Our room was nice, we had a view of The Mirage and the ...

Advantages: Price, location, cleanliness Disadvantages: Outdated decor and furniture
's furniture and decor needed updating, the sofa had a hole in it, the curtains were a bit shabby. We had just come from CaesarsPalace in LasVegas, 5* luxury to 3* average - not really fair to compare! I would stay here again, it was excellent value for money, good location with a few small bars and diners for morning coffees and bagels. I wouldn't recommend the hotel restaurant, althopugh it appeared to have good press, the staff were rude and the menu lacked any choice. If you want something comfortable, clean and reasonable, give this one a try, you can't go wrong. ...
Advantages: LOCATION centre Strip, not too expensive, non smoking floors, service Disadvantages: small uninteresting casino, not much to do at hotel itself
Last time I was in LasVegas we stayed at the rather swanky Luxor Resort & Casino and while it was worth the money, for this latest trip we decided to stay more central on the famous Strip. After all, the Luxor is at the south end and there's a lot of walking involved to get anywhere near the centre.
We didn't intend to spend too much money on accommodation, we weren't planning on spending much time in the room. All we wanted was central, comfortable and clean. We choose the Bally's LasVegas, a three star hotel/casino in the centre of the Strip with very posh neighbours. The Bally's is connected to the Paris via indoor walkway and opposite the Bellagio and CaesarsPalace.
BOOKING:
We booked the hotel as part of a package on expedia.co.uk and the 6 nights at the hotel worked out at approx £210 per person (it was the Easter ...

a sense that this place has seen better days. The corridors and lobbys are always throbbing with people. If you go to Caesar's Palace, The Bellagio, The Venetian or any other hotel in LasVegas - then you totally realise that Circus Circus is a budget hotel without any classy or luxurious feel about it, unlike the others as mentioned above. You also get a distinct sense that this hotel is visited mainly by white working class American travellers who are in love with the idea of an all you can eat buffet for 10 bucks!
Checking out was easy as the hotel offers an automatic check out service via the television which was convenient as we did not want to face another queue in the lobby again. After checking out via your tv, you can then just deposit your room key in a box beside the elevator.
Location wise - Circus Circus is on the edge ...
