Advantages: airy, nice decor Disadvantages: food is average
...I enjoy the Bougainvillea cafe as it is a perfect place to stop after walking and bargaining.
The cafe is all decked out in pink and the atmosphere is relaxed. It is located in a classic riad with an open space in the middle. There are also paintings and photos on the walls which are for sale.
The open middle offers air and sunshine. In the winter the cafe is heated.
The food is well priced but fairly average fare including pizzas, sandwiches and salads.
The service is good though and the cafe offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
To get there enter the medina through Bab Ftouah and stay straight. Pass the FNAC Berbere and at the cafe is located at the end of the street....

Advantages: a 30 second walk from the metro stop, child friendly with high chairs, and facing all the shops. Disadvantages: none
...The Metro Cafe, situated on Hight Street in the centre of Manchester,
is, i have to say one of the best cafes i have had the pleasure of eating in, in a long time.
the Metro cafe has a european feel about it, yet whilst bringing a european feel to the city, they have pictures of manchester how it used to be in the early 50's, 60's...
on entering the cafe, you are shown to your table, and given a menu, you are neither rushed or forgotten about when it comes to ordering your food, and the people who own it are genuinely concerned that everything is ok with your food.
the food is excellent and not over priced, and the selection of pastries and cakes all fresh, will keep you going back for more, and if you just want to nip in for a coffee by yourself there are always newspapers on hand....
the Metro cafe is definately the place to go...

Advantages: Nearby, friendly and social Disadvantages: A little small
...Café Face is located in the heart of Selly Oak, right near the University Of Birmingham. It is by no means a large establishment, but is friendly and homely enough to make you want to go there again and again. A great place to relax with some friends, the café offers some wonderful food at excellent prices - I would recommend their full breakfasts any day! Hospitality is top priority, and the staff or friendly and helpful, and pretty sociable too. The drinks are well made, with everything nicely prepared and presented, and there is even some music to carry your relaxed attitude even further. This is a great local place to drop in to....

We had this machine about a year. Like the previous review, I agree it makes a pretty good cup of coffee - particularly a good crema and in just a few minutes - . You will definitely need to preheat the filter holder before making coffee otherwise it... more
