A little about me, I work in travel, I love to travel, I love to eat and I love to drink . I live in London where I can indulage in all of my favourite activities and spend most of my salary. I also love strawberry beer (Fruli) and dirty chicken!

I love coffee, it's my vice and when Cafe Nero opened on East cheap a few years ago I popped in one morning (it opens at 7am) and bought a steamy rich intense flavoured latte I was hooked. Its several years later and I now work near High Street Kensington. Here the Nero branch is a funny shaped glass fronted building standing oddly next to a giant Boots. Once inside you need a minute to get accustomed to the Smokey atmosphere and join the queue of other eager coffee connoisseurs. The coffees start at Ł1.80 and they do all the usual, cappuccino, lattes. Espressos as well as a great range of fruit smoothies and iced coffee drinks. One of the best things about Nero's is their loyalty card. Every time you buy a coffee you get a little red stamp (changed recently from Green, so if you have green stamps on your card you might want to get them changed over ASAP). Once you have nine stamps you get a free coffee! This is great for me as I spend a small fortune in the place; I now also offer to get my colleagues coffees for more stamps! (I'm a stamp ho now!). There is an upstairs are with big comfy sofa chairs and a great place to while away a few hours with a book or newspaper). The staff are friendly, mostly students studying over here or working their way arounf Europe. If you love coffee give this place a try. They are popping up in all the High Streets now so hopefully there will be one near you soon.
