...Sitting on the rocks, sipping a drink, the only noise is from the bar behind playing tranquil and serene music, watching the sun slowly disappear below the sea. Its beautiful. A trip to Ibiza isn't complete with out a visit to San Antonios sunset strip in the bay of Calo des Moro. Café del mar was built in the 1980s. Is is now joined by Mambo, Savannah and Kanya at al but Café Del Mar is still the most renowned. Café Del Mar produces its own music and was responsible for starting the chill-out trend with its trademark mellow Baleraric beat. Since 1994 Café Del Mar has been releasing annual chillout albums. For those people who are running low on euros !....you can bring your own drinks and sit on the rocks in front of the café, you can still hear the music. Advantages: Pleassant environment, wonderful coffee accompanied by great beignets.
Disadvantages: Its in far flung New Orleans.

...In case anyone complains that this should be in the cafe category, I had asked for this to be created in a new cafe category for New Orleans. Unfortunately, this has not happened. I don't know what to do ... anyway, onward with the story ... Cafe du Monde ... is a famous landmark in New Orleans. Ask anyone there. It was in the movie Runaway Jury starring both John Cusack and Rachel Weisz. It has served as a turning point of my life and I thought I'll share this little cafe with you. Extremely Short History ----------------------- The original Cafe du Monde was started by Fred Koeniger in 1862. In 1942, it was bought be the Fernandez Family. Til this day, it is still owned by the Fernandez family and Cafe du Monde serves their infamous coffee and beignets in the original coffee stand in the French Market area of New Orleans... ...On a recent trip Mr Bubbles were in our new plush Tesco Supermarket in Warrington and I thought great as a treat we will go and have something to eat afterwards and test out the new Cafe, which is something we had been meaning to do since it opened. This is our experience of our Tesco Cafe at the new supermarket store. Well shopping was nearly over and done with and Mr Bubbles was slavering at the mouth at the sheer thought of his rather rotund gut been filled up. Now all stores are different layout but generally with the same sort of furniture. Our Tesco Cafe is stuck in the corner of the Supermarket and it takes you a while to realise it is there. On the way to the Cafe there is a trolley secure site, which you can park your trolleys in there and pay a pound and you shut the door and you get to keep the key until you have... Read review
