Café de París, Málaga's best restaurant, is in La Malagueta, the district surrounding the Plaza de Toros (bullring). Proprietor José García Cortés worked at many important dining rooms before carving out his own niche. His son, José Carlos García, is the chef. Much of Cortés's cuisine has been adapted from classic French dishes to please the Andalusian palate. You might be served crepes gratinées filled with baby eels or local whitefish baked in a salt crust. Stroganoff is given a Spanish twist with the use of ox meat. Save room for the creative desserts, such as citrus-flavored sorbet made with champagne or custard-apple mousse.
Advantages: lots of secret hideaways Disadvantages: too easy for your hubby to come and get you
...Paris....I always wanted to go there, its supposed to be the city where you fall in love. Well I spent 3 days with a female friend, and at the end of it we both felt unloved and unwanted!. Paris is a city where romance is everywhere, in the little niches on the pont neuf, in the main square of the louvre at night, in the cafes and bars on the backstreets, there are secret trysts between lovers. If you want to put the sensuality back in your life, go to Paris...It was all I could do to stop myself dragging the nearest frenchman up a back street and letting the whole world know i was there...Paris for lovers?..There has never been a city like it!...

Advantages: So much to see Disadvantages: Can't think of anything
...Paris has got to be my favourite place. I have been there four times now, the last time being May of last year. It is such a beautiful city with so many wonderful things to see. The Eiffel Tower was a must for me. I remember going up there as a child and couldn't wait to relive the experience when I went back a few years ago. You can see for miles and miles and can pick out most of the other famous landmaks.
The Louvre is fascinating, so much history and the chance to see "The Mona Lisa". Notre Dame and a trip down the Seine were also great experiences.
The best thing in Paris for me though, is definitely The Champs Elysee. Stand at the top, by the Arc De Triumph and look down the tree lined avenue, it's wonderful. it could take you all day to get from the top to the bottom by walking in and out of the many shops, bars...
