We have just returned from 3nts at this wonderful hotel. We had one of the renovated rooms overlooking the Nile and the gardens / pool which was really lovely.

It was an excellent hotel and the staff were all very helpful. We ate at the Waves snack bar and Harry's Pub and the food was excellent at both and very reasonably priced.
We were lucky enough to have a fantastic Egyptian guide to show us around Cairo and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and him to really make your visit to Cairo special. Our tour guide was Rany Mostafa and I cannot praise him highly enough! He has a brilliant website called Tour Guide Egypt full of information that will help you make the most of your trip.
Although the hotel can arrange for trips for you it really made a difference having someone so informative, enthusiastic and helpful to show you the fantastic sights of Cairo. I would definitely return to this hotel and Cairo as there is so much to see and the hotel is a brilliant place to chill out after a hectic day of sight seeing.
Advantages: top quality hotel Disadvantages: Quite pricey.
Stayed in this very nice hotel for my girlfriends 30th birthday (a surprise!) we both really enjoyed staying there, food was excellent out in the garden area, but everything was very pricey around £8 each for vodka cokes in the 'piano bar'. security were on the main doors and you have to walk through a metal detector arrangement each time you enter the hotel. however all the staff were very courteous and were more than willing to help you out. there ... ...you to buy clothes, get your hair cut, buy postcards and souvenirs even a japanese restaurant which my girlfriend adored, i did not go to the casino part of the hotel as i'm not into such things, but it seemed very popular with the residents there. also there are several other bars and a nightclub, the best bar i thought was the Irish bar (forget the name of it) and the drinks in there were quite reasonable. I recommend this hotel for a romantic ...
