I recently stayed at the Flamingo BenidormHotel in Benidorm, Spain for 7 nights between the 17th and 24th October 2006.
LOCATION
The Hotel is located about 800 metres inland from Levante Beach, and about the same distance from the Old Town. It is set in one of the quieter parts of the resort on a slight incline. It is not to be confused with two other Hotels in Benidorm that have similar names; The Flamingo Oasis Benidorm and the Flamingo Aparthotel.

THE EXTERIOR
From the outside this Hotel does not look anything special. It is a tall building, as are almost all of the Hotels in Benidorm with 25 ...
Advantages: Central location, near to the beach Disadvantages: Limited evening entertainment
to offer.
There are untold restaurants about 5 minutes walk away, with many bars & pubs, a few english pubs also. Plenty of shops ranging from clothes, leathers & souvenirs.
The hotel lies just far enough away from the center so it is very quiet , even in the evening. There is evening entertainment which i would say is more catered for small children, & pool games is laid on by the staff daily, mainly pool volley ball. There is also pool towel hire for a small deposit. There is an indoor pool also & a gym.
There are a few small sandy beaches near by, the best one is esmeralda beach, being the biggest one out of the others which serve drinks & snacks. This beach is about a 10 min walk from the hotel, & has plenty of sun loungers with grass parasoles, but are chargeable for a small fee.
The main center of cala d'or all closes by midnight ...
I went to this hotel in July 07 with my wife & 2 children aged 4 & 16 months for a ten night stay.The reception was very clean & on entering the hotel the crystal clear sea was in view which impressed me alot.The rooms were fairly spacious,& cleaned & tidied every day,the balcony was sea view which was excellent.The meals were very good throughout the day there was always something f every1.The pool areas were large & kept very clean.The beach is small & quiet with very clear water.The resort was nice & quiet with a few gud pubs 2 take a break from the normal all inclusive beers/wines theres a superb pizza takeaway called Il Padrino just up the road from the hotel.We also took a very short taxi trip to cala d or & the beach there is even better with the sea the best in the med,plenty to do in the day f adults & kids & gud disco ...
