Advantages: easy to find, near to everything, little bit of luxury Disadvantages: none
...i stayed at the parkplaza for a night a year ago with my boyfriend.
it isn't the cheapest in leeds, but you get what you pay for!
it's really easy to get to, straight across from the train station, and near all the nightlife, shops and resteraunts. we didnt go to the resteraunt in the hotel, but the bar was pretty good, expensive as you'd expect though.
the room was great!!! all black & white, really big bed, nice posh bathroom with a really deep bath. lots of wardrobe space too.
the staff were nice but very trendy, looked like they should be hairdressers or working in topshop.
overall it was really nice, and worth the money. definately recommended, especially if you're there for a few days...

Advantages: Very central, late night bar Disadvantages: Poor car-parking, a little on the expensive side (but worth it!)
...Stay: 29th April 2007, 2 nights.
Price: £300 (inc. full breakfast)
Situation: The Plaza is situated in the centre of Cardiff, just one street away from the main shops and 3-5 minute walk from the main clubs and pubs. When driving to the hotel, I found it easily accessible but was a little disappointed that the car park was not attached to the hotel. It wasn't very dignified having to haul my suitcase across the main road! Plus, car parking was charged at an extra discounted rate.
Reception: Apart from this initial annoyance, the hotel was fantastic. Foyer and reception were easily accessed, with pleasant and cheerful staff and porter service if necessary.
Room: Very impressive. Queen bed, plush decoration, clean and tidy, lovely big bathroom (although the full mirror along the wall of the bath/ shower was rather off...

...knowledge on places to go.
The hotel itself is very clean and the facilities (sauna, gym) etc are fantastic. The food is wonderful, the only drawback being the price (around £18 for steak meal), but when you taste it its worth it!. The breakfast was excellent a large buffet from english breakfast to continental.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the NEC or who plans to travel from Birmingham Airport. You can park at the hotel why you go on holiday and you can book all in packages which include parking. We did this before we went to greece last year. The hotel cost us around £160 which included 14 days parking.
This is definitely my choice of hotel in birmingham. I have no experience of the Crown Plaza in the City centre as I have never stayed there so just bear in mind that this is the one by the NEC....

Booking a hotel in New York can be a somewhat bewildering experience - there is far too much choice! This can be a burden -your choice of hotel can make or break a holiday and with such a wonderful city as New York, it becomes even more important.
We more
Well im back onto the hotel reviews again after a recent visit to Ottawa in Canada. After freezing my buttocks off and nestling into my scarf grabbing my bags and rushing into the hotel I had little chance to look at the exterior of the hotel!
