The Regal has changed Advantages: U have a good night Disadvantages: The food! ...career i have NEVER thought The regal was any good, but my opinions have changed recently. The music played there is good (better than some of the clubs in the area), the drinks are very cheap so its easy on your wallet! i come home with money now lol. A lovely little place Advantages: good food, not too expensive Disadvantages: a little too cosy when busy ...remember, it was good value-not the cheapest necessarily but then the food was really enjoyable. And after all, you don't always want the £10 curry deal every weekend. Only downside was that it's a little on the compact side so not a lot of room between tables but they can cater for fairly large groups given enough of a warning. WHY DOES STARBUCKS COST SO MUCH? Advantages: GREAT DRINK Disadvantages: PRICE ...will almost always go to starbucks but why is this? Its comfortable and refreshing but again the prices are extremely high. . . . . . . . . . Starbucks attract many customers everyday but despite this they have failed to move down there prices. Give this place a miss!!! Advantages: can't think of any!! Disadvantages: huge noisy room with umpteen staff darting about non-stop booked a table, as recommended, for a Sunday at 7pm. Arrived to find the huge open room only a quarter full. Service was a bit too speedy for our liking. Everything gave the impression of being ' rushed'. We had been given a table beside the kitchen door and after just 10 mins of watching all the staff darting in and out like maniacs, we asked for a quieter place away from the kitchen and were given the very next table ??????? It was a most uncomfortable ... ...eating in an ant run, all those waiters darting about non-stop. For some strange reason, customers were packed into the area around the kitchen. As we ate, 2 waiters stood guard over us the whole time, one on either side of our table. Avoid this place like you would the plague Advantages: None except it was close to college Disadvantages: Everything I have to admit that I did wonder why our group of friends always ended up here on friday night outings from college. Bad food. Very bad. The £10 deal seemed to attract a lot of us impoverished students but as regards value for money-£2 would have been too much in my opinion. And please don't go if you're not a student. Everyone else there will be. This generally means that given half an hour everyone is so sozzled having had their drinks pennied ... ...family meal there. Even worse if you end up in there when the rugby lads are in (which is likely). Only plus side is you take your own wine usually so then at least that can be decent.
