We have been members of the Camping & Caravanning club for some 5 years now and thoroughly enjoy discovering new sites around the UK.

Last year we were pleasantly surprised by the Club site at Clent Hills in the West Midlands. Although only a few miles from the suburbs of Birmingham it is surrounded by fields and country lanes and the popular Clent Hills are nearby. It is possible to walk to the top of the Hill - even with a pushchair (it is pushchair/wheelchair accessible). Once at the top there are viewpoints and also some 'stones' which probably mark the site of bygone rituals or the like.. ...

The Club site is well kept and particulary attractive with ample space between vans. The toilet facilities are of a high standard and spotlessly clean. The site wardens were helpful and friendly. We would strongly recommend it for a peaceful weekend break or longer stay. If required there a two pubs which serve food in the nearby village and there is also a fish and chip shop locally.

Do you have to pay membership in order to use these camp sites?
