Campo Grande in itself is nothing special. This is the capital of the State of Mato Grosso, a mainly agricultural area of Brazil. We stayed at Hotel Continental, after 4 days spent in Pantanal, the region out of Campo Grande. The bus station is one of the main attraction of the City. It is huge, and includes various facilities, catering mainly for the people who live in the countryside and come to Campo Grande to wind down. There is even a porno cinema, and some of the hotels around the bus station have resident ladies in one of the oldest professions on earth. We went to what was supposed to be the best Churrascaria in town. Although a bit pricey for Brazil, the restaurant kept us to its reputation. I only remember this restaurant was on side street of the pedestrian area.
