In the evenings there was entertainment at the amphitheatre which was a laugh, Mr CanGarden and the Turkish Dancing are really good. Karaoke was a bit of a shambles as no-one turned up but thanks to a group of scousers it turned into a fun night. The terrace bar is a great place to chill in the evenings as the pool and surrounds are all lit up and there is a good atmosphere. If your one for a late night I probably wouldn't recommend this place as the bars close by around midnight (although there was a trip to a foam party one night - if your into that kind of thing!).
Overall
The weather was brilliant, unbelievably hot with a slight breeze on some days. All in all, a fantastic hotel, great beach, fantastic weather and a quality holiday. Would certainly recommend it to anyone and my view on Turkey has ...

WHERE IS THIS PLACE?
Camari Gardens hotel apartments are situated in Gerani, near Rethymnon in Crete.
This is a smallish family run resort with just 65 apartments and studios with 2 pools, a small playground, restaurant, reception/meeting area with book exchange library and a few electronic games and computers, a laundry, a small supermarket set in pleasant gardens overlooking the sea.

OUR STORY:
We booked this 2 week holiday through Thomas Cook holidays but prior to booking I read a lot of reviews on Tripadvisor. There were no really unfavourable comments about this resort and the vast majority were really positive so I chose this place on that basis. The holiday was a package including flights from East Midlands and transfers from Heraklion to the resort.

Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games
with a sword and trying to push them off a raised platform; (b) Speed Slice (one or two players simultaneously) where various items are chucked at you by the sword master and you have to slice them in the direction indicated by a red arrow faster than your opponent; and (c) Showdown (1 player) where you have to make your way across the resort island hacking down the enemies that come at you.
Game Experience: This was the first game I tried and it is fairly intuitive and fun to play. Speed Slice especially is strangely addictive, as things as varied as pencils, sushi, watermelon and loaves of bread are thrown at you to slice and dice your way through. The sounds generated when you slice change depending on the item and are quite realistic.

Located near the beach of Side, this holiday resort offers an elegant setting with a great pool scene and diversity of facilities to provide you with a relaxed, memorable holiday. Can Garden Resort has a large outdoor pool and two childrens pools. You can relax in the sauna, have a massage or stay trim at the gym. The beach is a short, free bus ride away and hosts a variety of water sports facilities.There is a mini club to keep children entertained.
