Visiting Niagara Falls for the first time evokes dreams that have been instilled upon the conscience. Whether you have been told tales or seen shots in Hollywood movies, it is a tourist attraction that everybody has some knowledge of. Getting there - I started off in Toronto and joined a bus running day trips to Niagara. There is a different viewpoint if you travel from America where day trips are available from New York. However, I had been led ......times. The road to Niagara - JoJo's coach, which takes a maximum of 14 passengers, provided insightful information on the road down. Everybody on the tour was asked to provide a sound bite about themselves to help get to know each other better. The driver was also respectful of those wanting quiet time. I enjoyed hearing the stories of all the people who had tried to come up with their own unique way of taking a trip through the falls. From sitting ... Read review

Skiing at Lake Louise was such an amazing experience for me. I went for a week at the very end of the season this year and it was the best snow I have ever seen! This was only my second time skiing (the first was France at christmas) and has helped boost my confidence so much. The runs are very wide and there are some great long runs for beginners. From every lift there is a green run which meant i could spend a lot more time with the rest of my ......forest. My experience at Lake Louise has completely built up my confidence, and I just can't wait to get out on the pistes again. It was a fantastic week and I would love to go back there as soon as I can afford to. Obviously it is a bit more costly than Europe but in my humble opinion was completely worth it! The food on the slopes was reasonably priced, better than expected and a good choice of sandwhiches, salads and hot foods. One place I ... Read review
Advantages: Awesome skiing, on and off piste Disadvantages: Relatively expensive, variable weather, crowded on weekends
Whistler in terms of sheer scale has to be the best ski resort I've yet visited. Between Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, the skiable area is simply vast. On the right day, skiing in Whistler can beat anything anywhere in the world. For beginners, Whistler mountain in particular is easily accessible, with easily found green runs running from top to bottom. They tend to be well groomed and thanks to pistes hugely outnumbering lifts, sparsely populated. ......offer several courses at quite reasonable prices. For more advanced skiers though, Whistler comes into it's own. Seventh Heaven, Peak and Symphony chairs offer access to some awesome bowls and powder fields, as well as easy hikes to remarkable off piste. There are disadvantages however. On weekends and public holidays, queues can be quite ridiculous, especially in the mid morning. Lift tickets are also hardly cheap if one is staying for a week ... Read review

My Grandmother first traveled through Bobcaygeon with her cousins a little more than 45 years ago, fell in love with the area and bought a piece of property where she and my Grandfather built our cottage. At first, it was a vacation home but then, she told me, she just couldn't bear going back to the city anymore and moved up full time. Through my lifetime, I have move around southern Ontario a lot. Every time, however, it seems I wind up back in ......that draws me in. The people here are wonderful and friendly, and the area is full of breathtaking natural beauty. Bobcaygeon is home to about 3,000 permanent residents and around 12,000 live in the surrounding area. We are a small community oriented town, in the heart of the City of Kawartha Lakes located just 200 kms North East of Ontario's capital of Toronto. Since Bobcagyeon is only an hour and a half journey from Toronto, I find this location ... Read review
