I stayed at the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, Edmonton, for 18 days in October. The stay was not a comfortable one. The check in counter was lined up upon arrival, and always appears to be lined up. The Elevators are ODD. You never know what will happen when you get in one when it finally shows up at your floor. The beds are hard. I was put on a waiting list for a fridge and in the 18 days never received a fridge. The wireless internet was ...
...in the middle of an email. It advertised as wireless but I had to use the cable the majority of the time. There is only two washers and two dryers (that take up to two hours to dry one load), which seems inadequate for the number of rooms in the hotel. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant are somewhat unprofessional. The games room is always out of tokens or the token machine is broken. Advantages: Beautiful Location, Amazing skiing!
Disadvantages: Mayhem, Absolute mayhem

When we first arrived at Lake Louise Inn we immediately got an impression of the mayhem that would follow... We arrived late at night, and due to some confusion with an upgrade we had made were sent to the wrong room by a bemused night porter. There were five of us- the room we were sent to had only two beds...? Two of our party returned to reception to try to sort out the problem whilst the other three of us huddled in the doorway of the wrong ...
...coffee maker, etc. The Lake Louise Inn boasts a heated (I would dispute that) swimming pool and hot tub. There is supposedly a steam room although this was out of order at the time of our visit and reception staff informed up would be for the next four or so months! Advantages: Luxury hotel in Whistler
Disadvantages: I had to go home!

I stayed at this Four Seasons Hotel during July 2005. Not quite the right season perhaps to go to Whistler, as it's associated with skiing and wintersports (hence the 2010 Winter Olympics) but it was a trip organised by my company so I didn't have much choice in the matter. There were plenty of toiletries, and a double sink. The toilet was located in it's own room within the bathroom. ...two night stay at the SHERATON FALLSVIEW, Niagra Falls. The reception area was somewhat cavernous with a waterfall feature in the central area next to a massive staircase. I wonder where they got the inspiration for a water feature?! There were a couple of gift shops and a coffee shop in the reception area and an Italian restaurant off to one side. The room was extremely spacious with a very comfortable and firm king-size bed, a sofa with an occasional table, and a large dining table and chairs.
