I disagre with the bad comments on Cancun. I went in august 2000. I felt it was by far the best place i have ever been to- very entertaining. I think its a lot better if you go all-inclusive like I id,its so good. The hotel was Fab. I had people asking if I wantd anything to eat all the time,asking if I wanted something to drink,you can sunbathe till your hearts content,swim in the clear sea,play any kind of sport you want,,,anything at all you can have. The food was amazing all inclusive,6 course meals,buffets,snacks 247. The drinks were better still and the clubs were great-the hotel even payed to take you to the nightclubs and bring you back home! The rooms were amazingly spacious and comfy. The hotels all seem Fab altough i highly recoment if you go to cancun to try to stay in a 5 or 4 star all inclusive if u can afford it. it makes the stay a lot better. All in all i think Cancun is a holiday paradise and u can do whatever you like while your there. I would highly recomend it and i am already booked for this july-august.

Advantages: Beautiful sea, can do excursions to ancient ruins, lots of entertainment in the hotels. Disadvantages: Difficult to get to the main beach if not staying in a hotel on the beach.
