This is a place where you can easily spend 10Euros on an orange juice. So if you are going to buy a drink, make it a proper one and make it in a spot worth paying money for! Large sunglasses are always in, and just like St. Trop. a bit of gold glamour never did any harm. I love Cannes all year around, but the best months are definately June and September-October. This way you avoid the crowds, you can find a spot on one of the two free beaches and enjoy the sunshine. If you like boat watching there are two great ports to cruise around, watch the deckies sweating in the sun. The old town of Cannes is especially beautiful at night, some wonderful restaurants and little shops to peruse. Truely a great town to visit.
