If you are looking for a simple Kentish pub in the heart of Canterbury, the Thomas Becket is the place to go. Just off the High Street in the road opposite the post office, you can go and relax in the old world charm of this lovely pub. It has a cosy interior - hops hanging from the rafters and old farming equipment on the walls. There is a great big fireplace next to which, more often than not, you will find one of the pub's two resident cats basking in the heat. If you find you are peckish, the pub also offers a well-priced range of homecooked food in the small restaurant area.
