I love Canterbury. Wherever you go there is a piece of history, from the magnificent catheral, to the city walls, to the very modern animated figures depicting Chaucer characters in the Canterbury Tales attraction. The Cathedral and the Canterbury Tales are both well worth a visit although both can get crowded at times. The shops are wonderful either for quality goods or for picking up a souvenier of your visit. Most of the main names are there and several speciality shops as well. Plenty of places to eat and all in all a great place to visit.
