This is an absolute must for anyone who witnessed the epic journey of the first men to walk on the moon. The Kennedy Space Centre covers a vast error on the East Coast of Florida, its about 2 hours drive from central Orlando (assuming you stick to the speed limits). It has some great static exhibitions at the entrance with a 360 degree movie show. There are two bus tours, one concentrating on the military and commercial rocket launch sites and the other (and probably the most interesting) covering the Saturn V and Shuttle programmes. The latter includes a tour of the control centre used during the moon missions, its incredible how primitive it looks. There's also a chance to walk around a Saturn V rocket - its awesome.
