One of the places we had as a must visit on our trip to Florida was the Kennedy Space Centre. An easy to find place on the east coast and not far from the gorgeous Cocoa Beach, you could visit this while you are in the same area. This attraction is part of our space history and a fascinating place not only to view and visit the rockets, the sites in the vicinity but also it has a procted nature reserve around it. It was great to see a real wild aligator just cruing around. There are many of the old space rockets on view outside the compex and a coach tour (included in the price) taking you around the area as well as Challenger and Saturn V. Inside you can touch a piece of moonrock see the moon buggys and an actual simmulation of a space launch which I thought was really excellent for those of us that cannot make it to an actual launch. Don't miss this whatever you do.
