Advantages: Great Scenery, Value for money, Pristine beaches Disadvantages: not much
...attractions in Cape Town is the V&A Waterfront (Victoria & Alfred). Situated between Robben Island and Table mountain, it is a bustling centre, full of shops, hotels and restaurants. This is Cape Towns tourist centre point. You can have a sundowner at one the amazing bars, while watching sea lions play amongst the yachts, set in a background of the bay. There is the Cape Town aquarium, a huge fleamarket and always a few ships to peer at. From the various tourist centres around the waterfront, you can arrange a champagne boat cruise out into the bay to Robben island, a topless bus tour (not that kind of topless!), or for the more adventurous, a cage dive with the notorious great white sharks amongst many other activities.
I would highly recommend the bus tour, as this is the best ways to get your bearings, learn a little more (probably a lot more...

Advantages: Beautiful, fantastic value for money Disadvantages: Crime.

...the Koon Carnival. It is the way we in Cape Town welcome in the new year. On new years eve there is a street party on the Parade Ground in the City Centre. Entry is Free.
For those who want a more cultured visit there is the Baxter Theater in Rosebank, The Castle in Cape Town ( Daily tours can be paid for at the Castle) and the Cape Town Gardens To name But a few.
The only thing that I as a Cape Town Boy see as a negative is the Public transport system, but fortunately if you are using pounds a cab will be quite cheap
If you do decide to go to Cape Town there is lots of Cheap hotels on the Seafront in SeaPoint.
This review is based on my Experience of what is happening on the Southern Suburbs and do not include anything happening on the Cape Flats...

It seems almost criminal that Sam Duckworth, aka Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, seems to have passed so many people by. The singer songwriter from Southend is an incredible talent and this, his debut album, only serves to further that boast. His name seems to more
