A Day In Capri Italy

Advantages: Lots to see and do
Disadvantages: not enough time

~ A Day In Capri ~ We booked a day trip to capri with a representative from our hotel (we were staying at the Excelsior Vittoria Hotel) in Sorrento this trip cost approx £60.00 per person. Style but little substance

Advantages: Stylish, good views, great shopping
Disadvantages: Very expensive, quite superficial

Good enough for Roman Emperors!

Advantages: Beautiful, historic, unusual and crime free.
Disadvantages: Highly expensive in parts, very hilly, crowded on summer days.

You can also take a ferry from Naples which takes 40 mins by fast ferry or 80 mins by slow one and I assume the price is around double that from Sorrento. Hot, Crowded, Expensive but Worth it

Advantages: Beautiful
Disadvantages: Expensive

I visited Capri last year while on holiday in Sorrento. The island is easy to get to. We took a cheap boat from Sorrento (about £4 each) which took about half an hour. The island itself is very lush and very green but also very dramatic, with steep cliffs bursting from the sea. As soon as we got there we booked another boat to the “Blue Grotto”.
