Caprice... ain't she a model?

Advantages: Cosy, great range of food and prices
Disadvantages: Can be a bit slow with service

How can I describe the Caprice?

It's small.

Cosy I would say.

It's tucked away on a small high street corner in Musselburgh and on a winters night it's great to sit in there and watch the world go by.

THe decor is.... tacky. There is some very bad carving on the walls (Especially the "deer". Least that's what I think it's meant to be. Keep meaning to ask) but it all adds to the ...
...anyway!!

The downstairs only seats about 40 people maybe. And I must admit it can be a bit cramped. But again; it's cosy.

The food on offer ranges from basic pizzas through the normal pastas onto veal, and half+half (Consiting of half a pizza and a smaller than normal serving of pasta of your choice).

The range of food is great.

Quick review of Caprice, Edinburgh

Caprice is a small Italian pizzeria which sells the most gorgeous freshly wood fired oven-baked pizza I've had in a while, its prepared right fresh in front of you. Does takeaway and sitting in the small, dimly lit restaurant is a good experience. Very busy so advise to reserve ahead of time. portions are huge and very tasty!!! Good value for money and an old favourite with the locals. Highly recommended, ;-))) ...
