I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the HotelInternational on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights.
LOCATION:
The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal.
PRICE:
Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time ...

As i am travelling for one year my budget for each place i stay is quite small so when i was going to fiji i looked for the best deal i could find and this was booking the smugglers cove resort in nadi through my VIP backpacker card.

GETTING THERE
The resort has a free shuttle bus which will pick you up from nadi airport when you book it will ask you which flight you will be on so the shuttle will be waiting for you. We got the shuttle bus to the resort which is not far from the airport about a 20minute drive. When we arrived we were greated by the very friendly staff and got checked in. When we arrived they did not have any details on our second booking as we booked a dorm room for the first night then a double room for the rest of our stay as we were going away ...

Our travel agent reserved a suite for us at the InternationalHotel in Downtown Calgary for the first night of our Canadian holiday. Opened in 1970 with 248 suites, it was only 6km from the airport and reached in about 15 minutes by taxi, but the estimated time on the airport shuttle bus was 1 hour as it stops at several hotels en route. Calgary has a structure of avenues and streets in grid formation and the hotel is on 4th Avenue Southwest, close to Chinatown and two blocks away from the Light railway for getting around the city.
Reception, was bright and comfortable settees and chairs were around the long narrow area. Check in was quick and easy and a credit card was needed for incidental expenses, in no time we were directed to one of the lifts and would have been zooming our way to the 7th floor and our suite if we had realised ...
