booking form we were told we would have a balcony and a spa bath but this obviously wasnt true. Looking out of our 2ft x 2ft window we were facing over the car park and had a loverly view of a very picturesque industrial estate.
Overall I was very dissapointed with the hotel and I had booked it for my girlfriend who could tell I was upset as I wanted it to be a special weekend.
We made the most of it and put up with all the drunks in the bar all weekend and the very inpolite groups of middle aged women who were staying here for some reason.
I Paid £220 for two nights here and about a week before I stayed at CardenPark just outside Chester through my job and that hotel was cheaper but absolutely amazing.

My fiancee and I fancied a few days away at a nice hotel and after our usual scourering of hotel web sites, review web sites etc al we opted for the De Vere Cardenpark with is located just outside of Chester. We booked a King room with a golf course view for £145 per room including breakfast, not cheap, but this is 4* hotel with a spa, golf courses, plenty of ground and we were staying over a weekend which bridged the English and Welsh school half terms.
The hotel is set in extensive groups, part of which are the 2 golf courses and driving range which forms part of the hotel
complex, there is a marvelous mile long, gently winding driveway leading up to the hotel which has a massive frontage and
altough not an historic building is quite pleasing to the eye.
The check in was carried out swiftly as the desk had 3 staff on it ...
