For that alone it is worth considering as some holiday makers book thinking they are going to Sorrento, only to discover Sorrento is a five mile bus ride away. From this Hotel, it is no more that a couple of hundred yards to the Piazza Tasso, the main Square in Sorrento.
We have stayed at this Hotel four times in recent years and on the whole enjoyed ... ...distinct drop in statndards. The food was certainly no where near as good as previous visits, and satff were not as attentive and did not appear as happy in their work as they had previously.
Since our last visit, I have read that several members of the Hotel Staff have left to work at other Hotels.
The Hotel Rooms themselves are clean and well equipped. Do bear in mind though that if you are considering staying here, the rooms at the ... more

The food was certainly no where near as good as previous visits, and satff were not as attentive and did not appear as happy in their work as they had previously. Since our last visit, I have read that several members of the Hotel Staff have left to work at other Hotels. The Hotel Rooms themselves are clean and well equipped. Do bear in mind though that if you are considering staying here, the rooms at the front of the hotel face onto a road and there is some traffic noise, mostly in the daytime - it does quieten down overnight. The room at the rear look out over the swimming pool and are much quieter. The swimming pool at the Hotel is very nice, set amongst orange and lemon trees. We never had to pay for sun loungers at the pool, although from third parties I have heard that it is no the case that guests have to pay extra for sun loungers, but contact the Hotel to find out for sure. Consider this Hotel but do a bit of up to date homework first.
