Cars of the Stars Museum, Keswick

The museum is easy to find, as is signposted in several parts of the town, and is located only a minutes walk from one of the main car parks. This makes it an ideal part of any excursion to this part of the lake districts, especially on days when the weather is not so good. So when visiting you are not always guaranteed to see an exact car you are interested in, but certainly get to see some amazing machines you will recognise. ...rides. Most of the cars can be hired for promotions/functions for a fee, starting from £500 per day. As with all museums there is a gift shop tempting you to spend your money before you leave, casting your eyes over the postcards and pictures on display. It would have been nice to have the opportunity to get a photograph next to one of your favourite cars but photography is strictly not allowed (unless you buy an autograph). You are made to feel that you are constantly being watched, I've never seen so many CCTV cameras and signs warning people NO Photographs. I found that £5 per person is quite expensive for what you get.
