...The costa blanca is more than just Benidorm. When people get off the plane at Alicante most head for Benidorm. But Alicante has much to offer as a holiday destination. Alicante has 6 sandy beaches in all. hotels from 5 star to 1 star and cheap pensions. Also apartments near the beaches. Average temp 64f and 2,800 hours of annual sunshine. also 3 museums, a casino, 2 castles, many parks and gardens,a yacht marina and sports fields. If you like to shop theres large department stores, street markets twice a week, a large fruit and fish market in the centre of town. So as a holiday destination Alicante is a city and a seaside resort all in one....

...If you sign up for an allocated-on-arrival-last-minute-deal-of-the-day break on the Costa Blanca, 9 times out of 10 you’ll find yourself in sunny Benidorm. Nestled in the heart of the ‘White Coast’, Benidorm is 40 mins from Alicante, the airport you will undoubtedly find yourself flying into.
Benidorm is everything you’ve ever heard it to be – high-rise, hyper-anglicised and rating highly on the bad-taste-ometer. Still, if you chose it in search of cheap sun and sand and you don’t mind being surrounded by pubs called ‘The Kings Arms’ undersigned by the adage ‘Jean and Dave welcome you from Leeds’, then why the hell not?

I was born here in 1980 and it enchants my city to
me.
Alicante is a city with beach. Always it is sun and very warm. It is a
glad city. Its inhabitants we are glad people.
Alicante has many celebrations throughout the year. In January part of
Christmas is celebrated. Here Kings Magos and Papa' Noel come (Santa
Claus). The 14 of February are San valentin, where beams gifts to your
pair or your love. Also in this month there are carnivals, where people disguise
themselves and go of celebration. In March there is one more a celebration, is called Santa Faz.
