...A Grand Time In GranCanaria
After a rather over-worked summer, and a few of my own personal problems I needed a good long break where I could forget the alarm clock and completely relax. ...Most people know that GranCanaria has a very Large gay tourist base why?? well one centre called the YUMBO CENTRUM in Playe del ingles has over 40 bars/clubs/restaurants/shops.
In the daytime it is a huge shopping centre on 3 levels and come nightime it turns into the gay centre of the Island, however most straight people also come to this centre for a good night out.
Even though its a Gay centre dont let that put you off you have many cabaret bars for all including The New Labelle situated on the ground level,
I have been to granCanaria 20 times in 4 yrs and i love the place, all round excellent weather, good prices £8 for 200 cigarettes, cheap booze, cheap food and freindly people, a must for everyone.
Age groups vary, I have met people from 18-70 there so it is a place for everyone including families, a short taxi ride...
