Advantages: being St,. Moritz Disadvantages: slopes severly overcrowded
...We skied in St. Moritz for a day while staying in the much cheaper Livigno in Italy, from where you can book day excursions to St. Moritz. Be careful to purchase the right lift pass in Livigno, which will allow you a discount on the expensive day pass in St. Moritz. I would recommend skiing in St. Moritz just for the experience and the sake of having been there. There is a good variety of runs, mainly suited to the upper intermeidate skier (and above). The red runs are more challenging than in Livigno on the whole, but the skiing experience is severely marred by the fact that most slopes in St. Moritz are totally over-crowded, and therefore very accident-prone. You can see some skiers in expensive outfits taking private lessons in order to progress from their snowplough turns. Be sure to stock up on your Swiss chocolates...

Advantages: Scenery, skiing, EVERYTHING..... Disadvantages: Can get snowbound by road....CHECK!!!!!
...on that aspect, but all facilities (closed until mid December) seemed to be available.
When we arrived there had still been no snow. Even the peaks were almost naked after the summer.
The second day we began to drive to StMoritz (about 20-25 miles on a good road) and the snow began to fall with a vengeance. We had to turn back, it was a blizzard. We retreated into the house, ate a little and waited. The snow was hardly more than spindrift by the time twilight crept in upon us. We decided to venture out, into a completely private winter wonderland. There were no tourists, most of the locals were taking their annual holiday.
Everything was fresh, white and magical. We stood on the far side of the river and watched the lights come on in the little town. It truelly was a private Christmas eve out of a childhood dream.
To recommend Scuol...

Advantages: I know i can always rely on "the precinct" Disadvantages: it can be quite dingy on a cold winters day
...Never in a million years would I have thought of doing an op on St John's precinct. But after coming across several somewhat negative reviews on the place i wouldn't be able to sleep without giving people the opportunity to read what St John's shopping centre is really all about.
<<<<LOCATION>>>>
St John's Shopping Centre is located in the heart of Liverpool, in a central location of the main shopping district in the city - familiarly referred to as "town" (even though Liverpool is a city. lol) Its official address is:
125 St George's Way
Liverpool
L1 1LY
St John's really cannot be missed or avoided as once you are in town it can be seen from absolutely everywhere. The outside of the building is painted green (earlier episodes of brookside will show the centre...
