Advantages: Tiny and lightweight but good build quality. Easy to use, fast startup, very clear LCD. Disadvantages: Poor outdoor light handling, slow shutter speed, no macro feature and no case.
...while ago I bought the Casio EXILIM EX-S2 because I wanted a camera which I could literally slip in my pocket and yet have good enough pictures to print or view online. I've got a decent SLR and so I wasn't looking for a very high resolution or optical zoom. Size and convenience where prioritise over quality in my selection process.
Once the camera arrived it was clear that all my expectations had been met. It's absolutely tiny, and I've found myself ... ...optical zoom, such as the Casio EXILIM EX-Z50 or the Canon Ixus 430 (expect to add £100 to the price though). But if you already own a good camera for those occasions when you really need the best quality, and want something economical for everyday use then the EX-S2 is the perfect product. I bought my camera for £150 from pixmania.co.uk about 18 months ago, although I'm sure you could get a lot more mega-pixels for the same price today!

Advantages: Small, ULTRATHIN, light, slim and stylish, battery lasts very long Disadvantages: Does NOT record sound, very 'fragile'
...Their needs no introduction- the Casio Exilim S2 is the ultimate camera. The EX S2 has got to be the best digital camera ever produced- unless you compare it with cameras of triple the price! I'm not saying that it overcomes the latest technology of all cameras. It is just an amazing camera that suits its price. You will not find a better camera that is cheaper than this one, unless you are looking at a used one. Proffesional photographers...look ... ...proffesionals, as it does not withhold enough pixels to suite their needs. So as i just said- LOOK AWAY. All you ordinary people out their who dont take photography as a proffesion, i would reccommend you get this camera. The camera has many features such as adjustable resolutions and digital zoom. great for taking pictures at holidays or for photos that you can print. it has a VERY quick shutter speed, meaning that you can take quick snaps of moving ...

Advantages: Small, sleek, LCD, chrome finish, 2MP and easy to use. Disadvantages: had it for a year now and still can't find any big problems!!!
It most definitely is a camera worth having. I've had the camera for about a year now i feel that i can truely comment on the success of this wonderful invention..
Well, its size enables you to literally take it everywhere and anywhere!! I think the phrase "never miss capturing a moment" rings to mind as I truely was able to capture some truely spontaneous times with my friends :O)
Some set backs-
the zooms great but a little fuzzy on the edges ... ...the camera is a lot but worth it in the end. Also digital processing is quite cheap nowadays so thats a plus in relation to a 35mm camera. It's nice to see how your pics turn out on the LCD screen instead of hoping that the photograph comes back ok from the developers!!!
I would thoroughly recommend buying an SD card just so that you can store more photos and even video clips.............. talking of video clips may i add that they are truely fantastic, ...

Advantages: Small, lightweight Disadvantages: no zoom
While Casio may be a name associated with bored afternoons spent pushing a compass point into rubber calculator keys during a particularly depressing maths lesson, its range of digital cameras is far less deserving of such schoolboy vandalism.
The Exilims are all astonishingly thin. The EX S2 weighs just under 80g, which means it's lighter than most mobile phones. It's not noticable when you're carrying it around in your pocket, although the silver ... ...a picture.
Whereas some digital cameras take so long to initialise shooting options that you begin to think they've fallen asleep while factorising quadratic equations in their off mode, the EX S2 is exceptionally quick to take pictures.
The menus are clear and easy to navigate, with various profiles that enable you to take black and white photos and long-exposure night shots.
The two megapixel CCd turns out images with a resolution of 1,600 x ...

I don't actually own the camera but I have had privilege of using it non stop for the last 4 months around Europe. Amazingly my girlfriends uncle lent it to me for my travels after my cameras ($1600 AUD worth) decided it would be a good idea to jump out more
I am very impressed by the Casio Exilim, particularly with regards to the battery life. It is much better than using regular batteries that don't last long at all, and it charges quickly anyway.
The quality of the pictures is also excellent, and there more
