A old building with character and in a good location at the top of O'Connell good for sightseeing and only a 12 minute walk to the lively Temple Bar area. The reception staff were excellent and on first impression the room was nice. the major negative was the pipework going round the room which was constantly hot which meant you had no control over the heating. yo could turn ... ...hot. No air conditioning. it made sleeping very uncomfortable. The breakfast was buffet style but if on a package worth taking. A small but well used bar,Overall a good hotel for the spring and summer but probably one to avoid in the winter when the central heating is switched on. ... more

No air conditioning. it made sleeping very uncomfortable. The breakfast was buffet style but if on a package worth taking. A small but well used bar,Overall a good hotel for the spring and summer but probably one to avoid in the winter when the central heating is switched on.
