Advantages: Close to town, close to Safeways, Close to beer on the beach! Disadvantages: Guernsey can be quite boring, slow way of life!
...I travel an awful lot to Guernsey and this seems to be the only hotel we use as a company and put up in . It is pretty decent and I am headstrong about giving it a good review.
Guernsey I find pretty dull and boring, the StPierre Park is no exception- home to lots of elderly people who are on regular visits.
The rooms are very nice and bathrooms are lovely- shower and bath.
The layout of the hotel is pretty simple, 4 levels with Gym,Pool, Sauna, Cosmetics, Computer room and also the dining area on the lower floor, middle floor is reception and bar and also the breakfast lounge and higher tiers are rooms - about 140 I believe. Most with balconys.
The hotel is quite well situated - 10 minute walk to St Peter Port ( the capital ) and 2 minutes to Safeways.
I would recommend hiring a car, you will end up most likely with a Ford...

Advantages: It is FREE!!!! Disadvantages: none. But you have to like plants and trees!
..., it is very old but very charming and still working!), an English Garden, a giant pound for Lotus… the Botanical Garden more than double its superficies. It has now 4.6 ha and 3450 differents species of plants and trees!
It really worth having a look, it is a very peaceful place in the heart of historical Montpellier and the best time of the month to visit is May or June.
Not a lot of tourist know this place because it is far from all shops and café (they are not that far however, everything is at walking distance and I would say the Garden is about 20 minutes walks from Place de La Comedie) but when you visit the medieval quarters of Montpellier, I hope you will think about this place too! And why not bringing a little picnic with you? The Cathedral StPierre is just 5 minutes away as well as the University of Medicine, both a must see!...

Advantages: Very historic Disadvantages: Spire dosen't seem to match & can never get a good picture
...after construction began in 1160 the StPierre Cathedral has been changing ever since. When it was first built it had a sort of Romanesque-Gothic look, but then when it converted to Protestantism in 1536 the Cathedral was stripped of altars, statues, paintings and furniture, only the stained glass windows were allowed to stay. The Cathedral was famous for John Calvins sermons, that he delivered for 18 years since the Cathedral converted to protestantism, and his chair still remains, situated in the front row.
Many of the visitors go for the spectacular views which ypu can see from the spire, after climbing a narrow and winding staircase consisting of 157 or 8 steps, i can't remember which, you end up seeing the entire of Geneva and beyond, from the Lake and the fountain to the mountains.
Although i never saw it, archaeologists...
