I did not care for this hotel. It was very rustic, lumpy beds, few amenities and the help was not always helpful or even pleasant.There appeared to be a lot of tension between the owner and the help. The worst was the owner that runs the place more like an boot camp. Its her way or nothing .in other words not at all accomadating. You must show up when the "gong" rings and march in and eat if you want to or not and god help you if you don't praise ... Read review

I will remember the friendly entertainment staff - volleyball at 5pm! The quiet cove - you can swim for hours! The warm water and hot sun. The free drinks all day. The little hills and valleys covering the island. The never ending sun. The friendly locals. The crazy bumpy roads. The snorkeling was incredible. ...stay two weeks at the Cayman Islander. Superficially it looked quite good, but the experience was anything but. Having booked a twin room we were surprised to be escorted to a double room. Granted, the bed was six foot wide, but we were expecting two double beds, which is the norm for a twin room in the region. The manager assured us that they had no twin rooms but I have since met people who actually stayed in one. The maid service left a lot to ...
...little or nothing in our room, and we frequently got calls from the desk, asking us to pass messages to the maid. Our TV packed up after a couple of days and it took them over a week to fix it. I had to see the general manager before anything was done, and all they did then was swap it for one in a room that had just been vacated.
