They seem to have a very large selection of starters in this place. I had a fish salad, while my colleague had grilled aubergines togetehr with other grilled vegetables. Both dishes were very fresh.
For the first meal, I had pasta with alici, a kind of anchoives, while my companion went for pasta ncasciata alla cifalutana, apparently the speciality of Cefalu.
We then both had fish, sword fish myself and grilled fish my colleague.
The waiters claimed everything in their restaurant is fresh of the dayand that fish is delivered or bought directly from fishermen.
In my experience, this seems to be the case.
We also had the house white wine, which was quite strong. Their wine list is good.
We did not have time for dessert, but the table next to ours was very complimentary of the house cassata, the typical sycilian dish.
We spent the equivalent of 20 pounds each.
