Advantages: Friendly faces, great food Disadvantages: Uncomfortable chairs, can be pricy depending on what you pick
As you may have noticed, I enjoy eating (surprise, surprise), but there's no form of eating I enjoy more than eating out. There's something so special about going out of your house to eat a meal that you haven't had to cook yourself, especially if you've got good company, surroundings, service and most importantly a good menu.
Cellar V has all these, in droves.
We usually go to Cellar V on a Tuesday night, usually about once a month, as our friend lives just down the road, and we get to visit with him at the same time. It's also the night of Jim's Quirky Quiz (his words, not mine), which I'll talk about later on. Every time we are never disappointed with the food we've ordered, and we are always made to feel special by the personal attention we receive.
For this review, I've tried to focus first on the important things I always ...

Advantages: Atmospheric, pleasant and good fellow customers Disadvantages: You will always believe it is night, and it's maybe not for the claustrophobic.
The Brunswick Cellars is pleasantly situated on the corner of Sauchiehall Street and Rose Street, the entrance being a faily obvious door, and is a smashing little pub.
Once you creep down the steps and into the dark, moody and atmospheric bar you will instantly like it. A long bar and lots of seating makes room for plenty of eager drinkers.
With practically only candles lighting the entire pub, it creates an almost medieval room with indie music playing from the ceiling. The prices are not too bad, with promotions available at certain times during the week. I believe there is a DJ on Friday and Saturday for your entertainment. Pop in for one or seven! ...
Advantages: Local To Work, Decent Lunchtime Menu Disadvantages: Quite Expensive, Hard To Fit Into An Hour, Busy
See what I did there!!!! It rhymes that does! Sounds like the name of the place too! Anyhow, second appalling Peter Kay impression over, and on with the show.
I work in Yeadon, which is the next town/parish/suburb over from Guiseley, which is where we find Cellar V. I use this place for lunches with a friend who works in Guiseley as it is a 3 minute drive from my office and a 3 minute walk from theirs.
You'll find Cellar V tucked up next to the large Morrisolns, with a particularly brash front window. I'm sure that you have all experienced the type of front window I mean... Coloured window paints outlining the 2 for 1 offers on drinks and meals with gaudy impressions of pitchers of wine and swirls and patterns. Don't let this violently bright exterior put you off however; the atmosphere in Cellar V is lively, even ...
The fixed-price menu here can include soup, noodles, or gazpacho; steak or fish; and dessert, bread, and wine. From the a la carte menu you can select the fish of the day, which most guests prefer grilled. Other dishes include the classic kidneys in sherry or roast chicken. Admittedly, this isn't the best cooking on the island, but the price is right. The rustic setting is cramped and intimate, with original paintings on the white stucco walls. The location is 68m (223 ft.) west of the cathedral, a short walk from Plaça de la Reina.
