Celtic are a huge team, however, they will struggle to bring in really big names as they dont have the buying/retaining power.
TV revenue in England makes the Premiership the most lucrative league in the world. Celtic and the scottish league cannot compete with that.
It is amazing to think that Celtic are competing with the likes of Reading etc to buy players.
Asolutely Fabulous... what more can I say. A wonderful club and a great double winning season. This season was full of highs and lows. The biggest dissapointment for me was travelling to all the Champions League away games and losing every one. (Manchester, lisbon, copenhagen and Milan) The experience however was fantastic

That said however, the quality of players (and the amount of money) does not necessarily guarantee success (look at chelsea this season)
Advantages: Atmosphere, Europena nights V. Frequent Disadvantages: Board Are Tight, No More Henrik
Celtic are the biggest team in Scotland although there really is only 1 and a hal. Celtic were the champions last year and are well on there way to being the same this year.

Advantages: GREAT ATMOSPHERE Disadvantages: SOMETIMES INCONSISTENT
Celtic are one of the biggest clubs in Europe (if not the world) with one of the biggest stadiums - holding 60k every home game -They are famous the world over with their green and white hooped shirts and were the first British team to win the European cup (the year before MAN. UNITED WON IT!!!).
But the clubs current board are taking advantage of their supporters by not providing the necessary finance to make the team a success on the park. They ...

Advantages: Within easy reach of City Centre, atmosphere, numerous stalls and goods, banter! Disadvantages: Can get crowded at Christmas time, pubs very strongly Celtic, only open at weekends
sense of community spirit at the Barras, and a real buzzing atmosphere can be felt, especially at Christmas time, although it can get overcrowded at this time.
There is also plenty of food places, both inside the market and in the surrounding area of the Gallowgate. The pubs, however, are based very much on CelticFootballClub and should perhaps be avoided wearing Rangers colours on a match day, as the pubs get stowed out, and like every other city, Glasgow has its fair share of trouble makers.
The Barra's have been going for years n years and will definately be there for years to come.
Definately worth a visit... infact it is almost a Glasgow landmark! ...

Advantages: Great shops, clubs & public transport Disadvantages: err . . . none that I can think of
Glasgow, or as some peopple know it, Glasgee, is the best city in scotland for architecture. It won an award for the best architectured city in scotland in 1999.
The public transport in Glasgow is great. You have an underground, which allows you to go to almost anywhere in glasgow, an excellent train service going to loads of places across the UK, and a very good bus service as well.
Of course, Glasgow is also home of both Rangers and Celtic FC, sctotlands best known footie teams.
Glasgow has some great museums, clubs and bars as well. And some great theatres and cinemas.
The best part of Glasgow (in my opinion) is the shops! There are literally hundreds of shops in glasgow, and quite a few shopping centres, including Buchanan Galleries, which houses a large Marks + Spencer shop and loads more shops as well.
If you want to find ...
