There are three other UK Center Parcs villages at Longleat Forest in Wiltshire, Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, and Elveden Forest in Suffolk, but I haven't visited those and cannot comment on them.
We had never been to Center Parcs before writing this review and didn't know what to expect. However, there's an advert running on TV at the moment which shows a family falling asleep ...

...diamond for my review on Center Parcs the Oasis Whinfell Forest back in September so I decided that when I went back last week that I would write up a review of my next visit…. Sherwood Forest.
Last time I just went for the weekend which was the Friday to the Monday as cars are only permitted on both of these days. Advertised in Oasis was a Welcome Back Discount for up to 25% if you booked another trip within 28 days of returning. My boyfriend and ... ...~*About Sherwood Forest*~

...our front door to the Center Parcs site in Elveden where my wife assured me we would have a peaceful and relaxing break from the pub.
To be fair, several of my friends and my bar staff have all travelled to the same destination and assured me that, once settled in, I could be anywhere in the world and would forget totally that I was just twenty minutes away from home.
Certainly, Center Parcs Elveden - like all Center Parcs establishments - is set ... ...dread.
In fairness, however, Center Parcs is a family fun-filled venue and I will grant my friends a little bit of leeway with their description that you could be holidaying anywhere. Once onsite, with the car safely tucked away back at the main car park, you really are housed amongst the trees and unless you wish to see the rather dull architecture of nearby Thetford there is no real need to venture offsite. Checking in is a breeze but you cannot ...

The one we booked was Longleat village as this is the closest one to where we live. I am writing this while it is still fresh in my memory as we only got back 3 days ago. ...CenterParcs - Longleat
Taking a young family on holiday is a tricky business with a completely different set of requirements than when going away as a couple. Not least among these is the amount of baby paraphernalia that you need to take. When our youngest was about ten months we took her to New England and managed to get everything into a couple of suitcases and carry on luggage plus a pushchair but now we have two the amount of extra baggage seems to have more than just doubled and unless the destination is particularly child friendly the need for travel cots, gates etc makes the holiday load a bit much for airline travel. For this reason recent holidays have been UK based. The last couple of years have been spent in Cornwall at a friend's apartment but we thought that this year we would have a change. Having heard favourable...

...-Introduction-
CenterParcs has so much to offer whether it is the sports or the relaxing pool. Everybody who goes will enjoy there stay. I have been several times to CenterParcs and have booked to go again soon.
-What Is CenterParcs?-
CenterParcs is a Holiday Destination which looks like a village inside a forest; it has a small supermarket, lodges to live in and restaurants
-Arrival-
On arrival at CenterParcs you will first have to check in and do all the usual hand in required forms and information. You will then be given your key card, you then drive to your lodge and unpack your luggage, this is the only time you are allowed to drive your car inside the village, you can check in from 3:30pm but from previous experience there are quite a lot of queues at this time so I would recommend going a bit later after 4...

Advantages: Relaxing, scenic, plenty to do for adults and children alike Disadvantages: Activities are expensive, restaurants overrated
...My husband and I recently took our 12 month old son to CenterParcs, Longleat for a 3 day break. CenterParcs had been recommended to us by friends as an excellent holiday destination for families with children. They were right, it certainly is that. Everything about CenterParcs is geared up to appeal to the younger guest, although adults are certainly not neglected either!
Eating out at CenterParcs was quite expensive and, with the exception of the meal we had at Cafe Rouge, we found the food to be rather bland. Children were very well catered for in the restaurants, including being given toys/crayons to occupy them and some restaurants even had complimentary Baby food and microwaves to heat the food up in.
We were a little disappointed that there weren't more soft-play areas for little ones, like our 12 month old. The few...

What a classic game that was. So simple, yet so deep. Essentially a test of maintaining a steady-hand, it's "don't touch the sides" mentality was, and perhaps still is, a family favourite. The amount of power you had more
