If anyone is a new parent and is facing the dilemma of where to go on holiday I can recommend Centre Parcs. No it's not like a glorified holiday camp and there's not even a hint of hi-de-hi anywhere! It really is as relaxing as the brochure promises (even with a little one in tow). Personally I can't even ride a bike but hired a tricycle and baby went in his own little trailor on the back of his Dads bike. The babysitter we had was great so we went out every evening to eat and get some quality time together. Highly recommended - check out their website.

I am happy to 2nd this review. Ideal for New Parents. We have been for past 10 years, now 17 times in all, tried all 4 uk parcs and one in Europe.
I remember when the kids club was called KINDERKARDEN [spell?], I guess from CP Dutch days. It has changed hands so much recenlty even I'm finding it hard to keep up.
Duthch owned, Scottish & Newcastle brewary, someone else, now I think it is a bank offshore....
anyways
The kids clubs are great, real nice nannies, minimum 2 or 3 hrs, which llok pricy, but per hr not so bad + gives YOU 2-3 hours do RELAX - go try the Aqua Sana, now they do an offer, prebookable [to ensure you get what/when you want], which is pay full price for a kids 3 hr kids club session and get a big discount on your Aqua Sana item.
Lots of outdoor and indoor soft play, limited to under 3's at time, so safer. Also Dome pool times for babies as well, early, but safer. SOmeone mentioned they had tried the cycle 3 wheeler with baby trailer - so no back breaking front harnes's [3 kids - by back will never we better].
Any Qs about CP for kids, just e-mail.

Advantages: Fabulous for families with children. Disadvantages: Due to poor availability, you may not get a choice of where on the complex you are to stay.

Advantages: Great family holiday, perfect for kids, lovely natural setting, plenty to do Disadvantages: Lodges can be shabby, you will wear yourself out with all the activity!
