The MuseodelBancoCentral is also located here and houses a major display of religious art, Incan and Canari archaeology together with items relating to Cuenca’s history. From this point, it is well worth just taking a stroll along the banks of the Tomebamba River for a greener and more scenic break from the city.
The best view of the city is from the indigenous village of Turi. On the edge of the village and overlooking the city is the Turi Church as well as the excellent Mirador de Turi giving wide panoramic views.
For a trip out of the city, Ingapirca is the main Incan archaeological site in Ecuador and lies about 70km north of Cuenca. The ruins are not as grand as those to be found in Peru but are nevertheless historically important and fascinating to visit...

Advantages: pleasant climate, lots to see, bustling with local activity Disadvantages: usual big city issues - traffic, smog, beggars, street vendors
...are excellent and include the surrounding volcanoes as well as the city itself.
The old city is a place of churches and traditional markets. The central square is the Plaza de la Independencia at the heart of colonial Quito. The square is surrounded by the Cathedral, Presidential Palace and the Archbishop's Palace as well as the much more modern City Hall. There are a number of spectacular churches in this area although many are in need of significant repair. The second major square in the old city is the nearby Plaza de San Francisco. This open cobblestone square is dominated by the Monastery of San Francisco and its associated buildings.
Although much of the new city is modern office blocks, it also offers an extensive range of shops and various significant museums. The Casa de Cultura Equitoriana lies just to the side of the Parque El Ejido...

...Well,today i'm going to write about the "museodel prado".
All those have been in Madrid, know that this museum is considered one of the best museums of Europe as Spanish painting.
I am from Madrid, and i have been in this museum very many times and even so I do not get tired to go. If you travel to Madrid I recommend to you to visit it,because is very important.

-Spanish paintings from 1110 to 1850.
This are my favorite collection, because it represents the 70 % of the museum.Some famous pictures are "Las meninas" of Velazquez.
-Flemish and dutch paintings from 1430 to 1700.
The best picture for me is "the three Graces" of Peter Paul Rubens.
-Italian Paintings from 1300 to 1800.
-French paintigns from 1600 to 1800.
Well,here and in my opinion, there are a very good picture about Louis IVX...
