Central Playa, Ibiza

Advantages: Beautiful scenery, amazing clubbing experience
Disadvantages: The cost whilst you are there for clubbing

...Spanish. I would have to admit that anywhere apart from San Antonio and the locals are usually quite poor at speaking English, especially in Ibiza town. Where I stayed As you know I didn’t stay in San Antonio, there are several reasons for this the main being the West End. The West End is like Blackpool meets Playa las America (In Tenerife) it’s awful with a capital A. Think English hen parties, English Stag do’s and lots of drunken English larger louts and your not even close to the hideousness of the West End. On a rare viewing of the West End I didn’t see anyone other than English people, even the people working behind the bars and I know why- because only English people are stupid enough to go! I stayed in a beautiful little town called Figueretas, which is both quiet but close enough to the party action to be classed as central location... Read review

Advantages: excellent service cheap
Disadvantages: caused rushed packing and shopping!

...Within 32 hours of my boyfriend returning from Germany i had dragged him to Ibiza! All thanks to First Choice Holiday Hypermarket at rotherham. We decided to book a very last minute holiday to Ibiza and tried Thomas cook. They found one suitable holiday at £800 each. We took the details to First Choice and they said they would do it better. It was not what we had really wanted and not in our location choice. First choice searched for us and within a matter of minutes they found 7nights in Playa D'en Bossa at a Thompson exclusive hotel just under £400each. They threw in travel insurance for free and this included all the transfers etc. They also did our holiday money for the same price as marks and spencer. This was my first time with first choice but will not be my last!... Read review

...Last summer i went with a few mates to Gran Canaria for a two week, post GCSE, sans parents holiday. We stayed in Playa de las Ingles (which is the place to be for nightlife)and had a brilliant laugh. the nightife is excellent, although not really up to Ibiza or Aya Napa, with places such as Linekers and cream the best of the bunch. It doesn't win any prizes for architecture, however, as it is a purely tourist centre. Head for the 'Kasbah' centre for the main nightlife. The weather is fantastic too... Read review
