Advantages: luxurious, great location, great service, 5 stars
Disadvantages: A little bit on the expensive side

...service for when your feeling lazy! Car park (fee), Cocktail bar, Day Spa, Disabled facilities, Drycleaning & laundry services, Executive Club, Express checkin/checkout, Fitness Centre, Internet cafe, Guest Tour desk, Valet. This place is a great venue for couples to stay more than for families due to the hustle of the central city environment, but i am sure anyone would have fun here. I understand the venue is a popular one for business gatherings as well and i noticed a few conferences going on there. the hotel has meeting and conference rooms and caters for business functions.It is about a half hour drive from Sydney Airport and there are bus transfers available.... Advantages: Central location right next to the Harbour

...I visited this hotel in April 2005 when visiting Australia. Great central location with views from many of the rooms of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Only a minutes walk from the harbour so you are right in the action! The hotel had recently been refurbished and was really classy. Staff very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. I had a fantastic view of the Opera House from the room and I could watch the sun rise every morning - Well worth it! I didn't have any meals in the hotel (breakfast wasn't included) but there are plenty of places to get a great breafast, this wasn't a problem. ...My wife and I went to Sydney for our son’s wedding in November 2003. We didn’t know what to expect but had a brilliant time and can’t wait to go back and enjoy everything we didn’t get chance to do and all those things we’d like to do again. Getting around Sydney is easy and cheap. You can start saving immediately you arrive at the airport by purchasing a “TravelPass”. These can be purchased at the International rail station, which is located below T1 (International Terminal) and is reached from inside the terminal on the arrivals level. The journey into Sydney takes 13 minutes and trains run every 10 minutes. The station in Sydney links directly to the City Circle which means that most city attractions and hotels are within a few minutes walk of either Central, Museum, St James, Circular Quay, Wynyard and Town Hall stations.
