Advantages: loads to do, great places to visit Disadvantages:
...Paris is a great place. I spent 3 days there but could have stayed so much longer. There are so many things to see and do. The Eiffel Tower was my highlight, the view from the top is absolutely awesome. Like London, everything is compact in the centre of Paris and it is quite easy to walk from place to place. If you need to travel further afield, the underground system in Paris is very good and very easy to navigate your way around the different lines – even though it is in French! I would also recommend the Champs-Elysees, the view from the top of there, with all the roads coming towards you is amazing. I did this climb at night, and the lights could be seen for what seemed like miles. You can get to Paris for probably £120 for a couple of nights, it is well worth it. I for one, plan to return soon...

Advantages: See the sights Disadvantages: Busy, unfriendly, too many frogs
...Earlier this year we went to Disneyland Paris. On the way home we had a sightseeing tour of Paris. I must say that I am glad that it was only a quick tour with a few short stop-offs.
I was very unimpressed with the sites that Paris had to offer. Most of the famous buildings looked dirty and unkept, almost as though they had not had a face lift since before the Germans invaded. The streets were very busy but no different to the streets in the centre of London. I learnt from the coach driver that no-one is insured to drive around the huge roundabout circling the famous Arc de Triumph. I could see why, it is a nightmare and I warn all drivers planning on driving in Paris to take any available detour and keep well out of it's way.
My Paris experience is not memorable, but I must confess, I was not completely sober when I made that visit....

Advantages: not far away Disadvantages: full of french filthy overpriced
...been to france a couple of times before not been up to much but thought paris would be better i was wrong.started getting ripped off straight away 60 euros for a five minute taxi ride to my 4 star hotel which was a dive, better accomadation in my garage.
the streets were filthy world record amount of dog poo to dodge.shops were all overpriced bars dull and 5 euros a half.
everytime you cross a road in paris you risk your life they drive around like maniacs,i am certainly not one of the anti speeding brigade but 80 mph during the day in a packed city centre is a bit ott,i did not see one car on my visit without at least one dint .the popular catchphrase in paris in the shops each time they have your eyes out is "well it is paris".well you can keep it.biggest laugh of all was in duty free cigs and booze much cheaper in asda....

After four albums this is the first live DVD from Placebo. The concert featured on this DVD was recorded on the tour in support of their 'Sleeping with ghosts album' in a 16,000 capacity venue in Paris in 2003.
