We have recently returned from our 3-day break at this hotel. After reading other reviews of this hotel we were very apprehensive about our stay. On our arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and made to feel very welcome. We were given very clear details of the facilities available to us and also breakfast and dinner times. Our executive room was lovely , clean and warm and well worth the extra supplement. Great choice at breakfast and carvery was very nice at the alternative restaurant The Last Drop Inn. In my opinion we have had a very pleasurable stay,staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.Glad to see that the small quaint shops were still to the rear of the hotel which are not mentioned on their website. rooms and as far as I am aware the windows will only open a few inches which doesn't allow much air movement into the rooms.
The en suite bathroom was adequate and clean but would probably be improved by some degree of refurbishment.
There was a power shower over the bath, a washbasin and a W.C. A heated towel rail - which thankfully was switched off - held two white bath sheets, two white hand towels and a bath mat.
The hotel supplied basic toiletries - a sliver of soap, shampoo and a shower cap.

Have recently joined here and at £32 per month, each, we feel we have a bargain. They even waved the joining fee, normally £70.
We joined, my wife and I, on the ?Flexi? promotion. This is where you are only tied in for 3 months as opposed to the ?Full? 12 month tie in.
Extras given include £15 to spend in their restaurants, 10% discounts in the bars and coffee shop and 2 free vouchers for friends/family. The vouchers entitle the user to a free week in the gym, pool etc worth £70.
If you recommend someone and they join you also get £50 of a nights stay in the hotel.
