...First up I think I need to explain this title of my option a bit, a shag is the national dance of South Carolina, a very complicated dance I have yet to master but looks a lot of fun. Having lived in both America and England I have seen a lot of differeces between the two places, and one of them is the language so I thought I would play with it a bit to get some more reads. Sorry but you were fooled.
Having lived here until I was 12 years old I have loved the place since the first time I could look around and remember a place. Charleston is a place full of warmth and hospitality. People are always friendly and there is always a smile on the local’s lips.

Advantages: Interesting and beautiful place to visit Disadvantages: none
...Charleston is on the coast of South Carolina. It is a town which is dominated by it’s past and almost everything seems to be perfectly preserved.
The downtown area is compact with narrow streets which are easy to navigate. We took a horse-drawn tour of the city to give us a feel for the place and I can highly recommend this. Many of the preserved houses are open to the public.

Advantages: Natural Beauty, no crowds. Disadvantages: Aranged trips, not a lot of freedom to move.
...To arrive to Colombia's "Islas del Rosario" is really very easy as there are a wide selection of tours that depart from Cartagena, these day trips are complete, you are collected from your hotel in the morning by chiva (typical open sided bus).
These busses then take you to the port where depending on the chosen tour you board small to medium size boats that take you in around 1 hour to the islands, Safety on these boats is taken very seriously and everyone is supplied with a life vest. During this trip over water the guides explain the history of the bay of Cartagena which is very interesting.
On arriving to the islands one is able to relax on the white sands of these fantastic beaches, where it is possible to see fragments of washed up corral, one has the opportunity to chose between a selection of activities that include...
