Chase is one of the most popular, trendiest bars on Newcastle's Quayside. It's glowing neon frontage kind of lures you in. There is nearly always a queue for this bar, but don't be alarmed! There are always more people inside the bar than outside of the bar ;-) - This place is always buzzing.(Sometimes I do wonder if they break health & safety regulations by allowing too many people in - last time I was in I was kind of body surfed to the bar, up the stairs down the other side and out the door again and I'm not sure my feet touched the ground once!) One to avoid if you fear crowds then! Spread over a ground floor and mezzanine upstairs level, you can also make it outside to a courtyard area if you're lucky. Drinks prices can be steep (but nothing out of the ordinary compared to the rest of the Quayside area). Have a bottle of their own liquid, Chase whilst you're in here, just because you can (a slightly cheaper option than drinking brand alcopops). If you want proof that Newcastle is well on its way to becoming the next cosmopolitan hang out then take a trip to Chase. The clientel are a fashion conscious, trendy bunch, echoed by the sleek decor. Worth a visit as its one of the best bars on the Quayside.

Op rerated as promised. As I've said check out the community centre for tips on how to write ops, as you find people who are useful add them to your circle of trust. AS your opinions improve you'll get more reads. If you want a comparison check out my first op on the Beatle "1" album and compare it with my latest ops on U2. Welcome to Ciao. Mike

Is this about Pravda or Chase, because Chase is quite expensive and in the centre of the quayside. I thinlk this needs re assigning. Cioontact Ciao via Community Centre , then I can come back and rerate it. Mike

Advantages: They do get there - eventually Disadvantages: Terrible customer relations, don't trust them to book your seat, look after you when things go wrong, be at all sympathetic
