The Coliseum is the sister to The Outlet Village.Situated right next door you can't miss it if you're gonna go there. But go there you should. As well as some larger stores such as Argos,Bookers,The Holiday Hypermarket and Dixons there are also some excellent places to eat.Go there day or night and you should get a table at any of the restaurants. These include Bella Pasta,Italian, obviously but they have some nice twists here.I used it only last week and it was the first time I had seen sliced duck breast on a pizza. But they also do lots of things with sea-food and the lay-out allows you to see the chefs at work in all there "flaming" glory.Of course there are all the regular favourites too.Drinks are in bottles only but not too badly priced.A great place to enjoy a family/friends meal. There is a mexican place called Chiquito's.Here it is hot and spicey with everything from fajita's to coated chickens all reasonably priced but at 6'4" and 17 stone, i felt the portions should have been bigger. However don't let that deter you.The food is very good but there's another side to this place. They have a bar area where the decor is all Mexicano. Salsa and mambo playing and I bet you can't help yourself dancin! Draught beer, bottledbeer or cocktails for the ladies it all lends to the feel. There's a new place called Nando's.This is a Portugese eaterie but I tried it last night and found that the Porto's must just live on chicken! Everything in here is chicken-based bet they do it different. They have a coating called "Peri-Peri" in medium, strong and blow-your-socks-off strenghths. The portions are good, service is polite and helpful and two of us ate and drank for just over 20 quid.Great if you feel like chicken tonight! Franky and Benny's is one I like in particular. It's themed around 1920's New York with the obvious hint of Italian in lots of otherwise very American dishes.I'm not talking your regular burgers, steaks and pizza's here but something with a lot of flavours, different tastes and a real variety of choice. There is your mandatory bar area where beers are priced at the normal rate. Once you've had your fill you can go ten-pin bowling,to the multi-plex cinema or dance the night away at Destiny and Elite. D&E is the new local nightclub but it attracts coachloads from everywhere, every week. It has two rooms, one for over 25's and the other for all and sundry but you'll have a good night in either. I know all this because I live a mile up the road and use it all, frequently!! So go , eat and be merry!!
Nice review = I like both places, its a great day out

Although I've been to Cheshire Oaks a few times, the Coliseum was just the bit next door that I drove past. Next time I'll maybe stop for a bite to eat. Cheers, Paul.
