If you are a bargain hunter like me, you will love Cheshire Oaks. Just get in your car, get on the M53, get off at Junction 10 and whay hey, Bob's your uncle and Fanny's your aunt. There it is, Cheshire Oaks.
Standing proud and bursting with over 130 shops, it is one of the biggest shopping outlets around. Of course, you don't have to go by car, you can get on the train to Ellsmere Port or Chester Rail Stations then just get the bus into the outlet. The buses for Cheshire Oaks leave from Chester Town Hall and Ellsmere Port Station. So there is no excuse not to go and spend your money at Cheshire Oaks.
If you do go by car, get there early then you have a chance at parking near the shops on one of the three large car parks - you can have quite a stroll to the nearest shop otherwise.
The shops are numbered on a map, which you can pick up at various points around the outlet and is very easy to follow. The numbers start at 1, obviously a good number to start with and you finish up about 4 hours later at store number one sixty something. There are numerous food courts and restaurants placed around the village and the food, although it can be pricy, is good.
The range of stores is unbelieveable and you can kit your house and wardrobes out with almost anything you want and need (or don't need but just have to have as the case may be!) and the best thing is, it is all at a discounted price of the retailers back home.
Cheshire Oaks is also home to numerous designer stores such as, Adidas, Ben Sherman, Body Shop, Burberry, DKNY, Donnay (I got my fella a pair of Donnay combats at just £12 - bargain or what!), Carphone Warehouse, Etam/Tammy Girl, Morgan, Nike and the list goes on and on.
You really do have to go there (preferably with a full wallet/purse and maybe a couple of visa cards) to see for yourself the bargains available at Cheshire Oaks.
I often wait for a few months then take myself off to the addictive shopping outlet, but hey to all you compulsive shoppers, Cheshire Oaks gives some great retail therapy!! A must for all young and old!
The store is open seven days a week, all year round including Bank Holidays but I recommend you go out of holiday periods as it is quieter and easier to shop.
If you require more information you can ring the outlet on (0151) 348 5607 or alternatively, visit the site of McArthur Glen outlets at: http://www.mcarthurglen.com/general_info.cfm.
Enjoy the benefits of discount designer shopping all year round at Cheshire Oaks outlet.

Advantages: Great choice for you and your family or friends. Disadvantages: Can be pricey and walks between are uncovered so bad weather can leave your dancin shoes a tad wet!
