A small friendly Chambres d'hote-gite located on the outskirts of a typical French small market town just a short walk from both the town centre with its facilities&the open countryside.
Advantages: Good Quality Food, Good Atmosphere, Friendly Staff Disadvantages: Limited Menu options
I was introduced to Chez Jules about 18 months ago by a friend who swore it was the best restaurant in town, and I have to agree with him.
Its situated on Ethel Street, Birmingham which is off the pedestrian area of New Street, near to the station. (Its the road with the large Pizza Hut on the corner).

chez gerard St John's Wood
The Restaurant is part of the chez gerard group that has a high reputation in fine dining. It has been around for around twenty odd years and upon a day in July I visited this Restaurant.

first impressions

Wandsworth is home to 'nappy valley', where a Chelsea tractor for doing the school run is essential among the yoga mat carrying, prada sun glassed, yummy mummies, and trendy, latte clutching, media daddies. Although not the most expensive place to live in London, certain homes would definitely hit the million pound mark, and keep going.
In short, Wandsworth is not normally somewhere you'd expect to find a bargain. But then there was ...
